I am someone who makes friends easily and consider myself to be a caring, understanding person. I play golf. Im not looking for excitement, or travel to far off lands (I’ve done enough of those things) but someone who likes ‘nice’. Nice restaurants, a comfortable pub, holiday to somewhere quiet, preferably warm with nice authentic restaurants and bars. Forgive me but not someone who can’t afford it or hasn’t got the time. I don’t like visible tattoos. I’m an ex police officer, head of investigation for a large bank and latterly an Assistant Director for a big four accountancy firm, now happily retired and looking for a mate following a difficult couple of years

Someone who is genuine and honest, someone who likes a laugh and doesnt take themselves too seriously. If you are looking to climb Everest or travel to some remote destination I’m probably not for you. If you play golf so much the better but it’s not necessary, just be nice
